Firstly, a bit about my experience - I have 4 years Nannying and Baby sitting experience. My experience is with children of all ages, ranging from new born right through to early high school and have been left with up to 5 children at any one time. During my time as a Nanny I was given a broad range of extra responsibilities. Including cleaning, cooking, educational activities and sport related development.
A bit about me - I am 22 years of age and worked full time as a Nanny for 3 and a half years. At the beginning of this year I chose to follow a new working path and now work for the Government in a role working with retiree's and people with disabilities, helping them in many aspects of their lives (a very big change from children)! As a person I am energetic, adaptable, easy going, fun loving, hard working, reliable and trust worthy.
When I am not working I am usually found at the pool, doing laps. Or with friends. My hobbies and interests are dancing, singing, painting, sports, travel and reading.
What I am looking for - I have recently moved into a new role that offers less hours and my day begins mid afternoon. I would love nothing more than to get back into Nannying and Baby sitting. I would be available up until 2pm week days and available to work weekends if required. I love working for families with children of all ages. Luckily for me, being the outgoing social person that I am, in the past have built great relationships with my employers and with their children and at the end of the day that's all I look for in the families I work with - a great honest relationship.
Refs, qualifications ect - As I "fell" into Nannying at a young age, I have never had the time or have been required to engage in childcare courses and unfortunately do not have qualifications. However during the course of my years Nannying, I have built up quite a number of references happy to answer any questions in regard to my capabilities, work ethics and personality. I also have a current first aid certificate and would be happy to provide a recent police check. As I was a state level swimmer for many years I also hold the ability to assist children who are learning to swim and am happy to use this if the family are interested, at no extra cost other than my hourly rate.
